As a part of the CFG Legacy Planners team, Matt's role is two tiered. The first tier is looking at the business and creating efficiencies for the owner and golden handcuff programs for the employees. This could be buy-sell life insurance agreements, group benefits, or 401k plans. The second tier is helping business owners address and achieve their personal financial planning goals. Most owners spend a majority of their time and money reinvesting in the business to make it a success. At a certain point in time when success has been achieved, it's time shift some attention to the personal. Business owners are uniquely positioned to use their business as a way to help them plan for and achieve their personal financial goals. Matt's goal is to help business owners create a long lasting and successful business so they can have a long lasting and successful personal life.
Next Gen Financial Planning is the second and equally important approach. We are about to enter the largest transfer of wealth in this great nation’s history. Many people who will be inheriting this wealth aren’t prepared for it nor do they know where or who to turn to when they receive it. Next Gen Financial Planning is about looking at the short, medium, and long term, discussing needs and wants, and building a plan that is tailored to what is important to that specific client. Whether you are inheriting a legacy and want to continue and build upon it or getting started in your financial journey and want to build a legacy of your own, Next Gen Financial Planning can help you get there.
