Sam's role with CFG Legacy Planners is primarily in the area of marketing. Sam joined sister company Cornerstone Financial Group in October 2023 with 10 years of previous industry experience as a financial advisor at Mutual of Omaha and as an independent financial advisor. Sam’s goal is to continue to create value for both firms' clientele, while also bringing a new perspective and a fresh pair of eyes to serve clients.

Sam was born in Tulsa Oklahoma and raised Iowa. He is a graduate of the University of Iowa with a degree in Finance with an emphasis in entrepreneurship. He currently has his Series 6, Series 63, Series 65, and Life & Health Insurance licenses. Sam lives in Ankeny, Iowa. In his spare time, he enjoys golfing, working out, volunteering at the ARL and cheering on the Hawkeyes.
